IT36078: GUI ISSUE IN ADDING MESSAGE COUNT MONITOR IN WEB SERVICE PROXY

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Adding Message Count Monitor object into WSP in v10.0.1.2
  failed.
  
  On selecting the message count monitor from the drop
  down the APPLY button is not getting enabled which prevents us
  from saving the message count monitor object.
  
  As a workaround
  after selecting the message count monitor from the dropdown ,
  user went back to other tabs and changed some value to enable
  APPLY button. The APPLY button did get enabled after that and
  user clicked on it to save the changes.
  
  It says configuration
  successfully saved but still the message count monitor appears
  to be empty.

Problem summary

• When adding a message count monitor on the WebGUI the change
  is not registered and the apply button does not enable.
  

Problem conclusion

• Correct the WebGUI display to populate the list of Message
  Counts on add of a new Monitor.

• Switch from the service URL:
  https://dp_ip:9090/service/WSGateway/WSP_Name
  to the configure URL:
  https://dp_ip:9090/configure/WSGateway/WSP_Name
