IT36020: BACKUP FAILS WITH "TARGET STORAGE VOLUME NAME DATASTORE (DATASTORE NAME) DOES NOT EXIST" AFTER VMOTION

Error description

• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus fails to backup VMs after they were
  moved using vMotion. The Joblog will
  show:
  
  ERROR,1602608951756,<date>,2,CTGGA2403,Backup of vm <VM>
  failed target storage volume name Datastore (<Datastore Name>)
  does not exist.. Error:
  spp_xxxx_yyyy_zzzzzzzzzz__groupa_bb_
  
  This is seen when the
  vMotion happened between datacenters in the same vCenter and
  when the backup assigned is using a tag.

Problem conclusion
