When a validation error contains a payload that exceeds 2500 characters; the error reason at the end of the error-string message may become truncated.
Local fix
Do not exceed 2500 characters in a payload for a validation rule/
Problem summary
For long error messages with reason at end of message and containing payload, the reason gets truncated when message length is more than 1024 bytes.
