IT35795: REPLICATION ENDS WITH FAILED STATUS WHEN ONLY LOGS ARE REPLICATED

Error description

• The IBM Spectrum Protect Plus replication job incorrectly ends
  in failed status when only Microsoft SQL or Exchange logs are
  replicated.
  The replication job will only have logs to replicate when it
  runs more frequently than the scheduled database backups and
  less frequently than the backups of the logs.
  
  For example databases are set to be saved once a day, logs every
  30 minutes and replication twice a day.

  amount of data was replicated.
  Logs were replicated successfully and can be used for database
  log restore.

Problem conclusion

• The Replication job status is changed from FAILED to PARTIAL for
  the following two situations:
  1. Only log volumes are replicated.
