Error description
A new authentication token (i.e., API token) was added in IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.7 to ensure authenticated communication between SPP and all registered VADP proxies. Since the local VADP was deprecated in SPP 10.1.7, this authentication mechanism was not added to the local VADP. Since the local VADP does not include the authentication mechanism, the local VADP is now unusable.
Local fix
Suspend local VADP.
