IT34990: IBM SPECTRUM PROTECT PLUS ORACLE BACKUP FAILS WHEN A SPACE IS ANYWHERE IN THE DATA FILE PATH

Error description

• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus Oracle backup fails when a space
  is anywhere in the data file path. The following
  error appears in the Job log when the backup
  fails:
  
  CTGGF0031,[oracledb1] Databse ORACLEDB1: Backup failed:
  df:?YOUR_ORACLE_FILE.DBF?: No such file or directory;Filesystem
  1024-blocks Used Available Capacity Mounted on;/dev/sdix 100%

  Run the following command on the oracle system
  command line:
  
  select name from v$datafile;
  
  Look for the file name seen in the error message. In this
  example, the file name
  is: "YOUR_ORACLE_FILE.DBF". You MAY see a space in the file
  name like the following:
  
  /youroracle/
  YOUR_ORACLE_FILE.DBF
  
  
  If there is a space anywhere in the data file path this
  problem occurs.
