APAR status

Error description

  • During processing of an "AUDIT VOLUME" command, the server
    cannot obtain a required lock, due to "RECLAIM STGPOOL"
    process running concurrently.
    
    From the activity log, the server displays an ANR2326W warning
    message.
    This warning message only says a lock conflict occurred.
    The volume belongs to the STGPOOL.
    The lock conflict issue is caused by the audit and reclamation
    operation were running to the same volume.
    It does not mention any potential causes or any recommendations.
    The warning message requires improvements.

    MOVE DRMEDIA command, or another data-accessing process is
    running on the
    same volume.

    To resolve the issue, complete the following steps:
    To determine whether a RECLAIM STGPOOL, MOVE DRMEDIA, or other
    data-accessing process is running, issue the following command:
    query process
    If a RECLAIM STGPOOL, MOVE DRMEDIA, or another data-accessing
    process is running, wait for processing to finish.
    Reissue the AUDIT VOLUME command.
