APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Affected are users of the API Connect Gateway using multiple
    user defined policies.
When updating user defined policies (UDP) with the command:
    apic gateway-extensions:update
if the extension containing the UDPs have multiple
subdirectories containing the .cfg files, all of the user
defined policies may not display properly in the gateway due to
a timing issue, resulting in only a subset of the user defined
policies being visible on the Gateway

Local fix

  • Store all the user defined policies at the root level of the
    extension file

Problem summary

  • The v2018 apigateway extension config-sequence might be written
prematurely when the extension contains configuration files in
    several subdirectories.
