APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • After migration to ACE V11, message flow will be saved in
    .dfmxml format under run directory of the integration server to
    which it is deployed. Whenever the flow is redeployed, it is
    expected to replace the existing .dfmxml file with the newly
    deployed .cmf or .msgflow file.
    
    Currently, when a bar file
    containing the message flow which is older than the .dfmxml
    file under the run directory is redeployed, the .dfmxml file is
    not getting replaced.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

    All users who migrated from previous versions of IIB to  App
    Connect Enterprise V11

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    The migrated message flow (.dfmxml) under the run directory of
    the integration server is not getting replaced when a bar file
    containing the message flow which is older than the .dfmxml file
    is redeployed.  Deploy command will complete successfully but
    the file under run directory won't get replaced as expected.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Now the product code is modified  so that whenever there is a
    .dfmxml file under the run directory, and the bar file that is
    redeployed contains a .msgflow or a .cmf file (not a .subflow),
    the deploy command will replace the .dfmxml file.
