Error description
Depending on the amount of data to copy, the IBM Spectrum Protect Plus copy of snapshots to secondary backup storage job can display a long delay (from a few minutes to more than one hour) between end of the data transfer and the actual job completion. Problem conclusion
The delay was caused by some synchronization code during the cataloging process at the end of the job. The problem has been resolved by improving the synchronization logic to minimize the delay.
