Error description

• A message flow with FileNode which is configured for 'ftps'
  protocol may fail with
  'java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of
  range: 0' exception if the remote FTPS Server returns an empty
  string or a string whose length is less than 3 characters for
  the 'AUTH TLS' command. The systemlog file logs a BIP4367E error
  message.
  
  BIP4367E: The method ''sendData'' in Java node ''File Output''
  has thrown the following exception:
  'java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of
  range: 0'.

  All users of IBM AppConnect Enterprise V11.0 and IBM Integration
  Bus V10.0 using the File nodes with ftps protocol.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  A message flow with FileNode which is configured for 'ftps'
  protocol may fail with the following error:
  
  'java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of
  range: 0'
  
  This exception can occur if the remote FTPS Server returns an
  empty string or a string whose length is less than 3 characters
  in response to the 'AUTH TLS' command.
  

Problem conclusion

• The error no longer happens if the FTPS server returns a
  response shorter than 3 characters.
