IT33300: IBM SPECTRUM PROTECT FOR SPACE MANAGEMENT DOES NOT HONOR PASSWORDDIR OPTION IN MULTI SERVER ENVIRONMENT

Error description

• IBM Spectrum Protect for Space Management does not honor
  settings for PASSWORDDIR per IBM Spectrum Protect Server
  SERVERNAME stanza in dsm.sys if each IBM Spectrum Protect
  Server SERVERNAME stanza defines own PASSWORDDIR value.
  PASSWORDDIR is read once for the default IBM Spectrum Protect
  Server and it does not reload to other values in case of
  connection to other servers from the list of servers that can
  manage the file system . It makes impossible to store passwords
  to different servers which can manage the file system in
  different password files. This can occur whether PASSWORDDIR is
  set or not, since the process will search for the password file
  in the default directory regardless.
