APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Setting password treatment to none removes the passphrase input
dialog from the WebGUI as well as prevents decryption if set to
    none.
If a passphrase is entered it should allow for decryption
    regarless of password treatment.

Local fix

  • Set password treatment to masked to allow for decryption using
    passphrase.

Problem summary

  • Domain Settings passphrase and password-treatment
are not dependant on one another and thus the password
treatment should not impact the passphrase encryption of
    passwords.

Problem conclusion

  • Remove checks for password-treatment on passphrase encryption
    decryption.
Remove conditional on WebGUI so both fields display
    unconditionally.

    Fixed In: 10.0.0.1

Temporary fix
