USERS AFFECTED:
The component of MQ which utilises the embedded Apache Commons
IO, Lang, Logging & Net JAR files is:

- IBM MQ Managed File Transfer Edition.


Platforms affected:
MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The IBM MQ v9.0/v9.1 releases are supplied with the Apache
Commons IO, Lang, Logging & Net JAR files.

The released versions of these utilities within the previous IBM
MQ Fix Pack on the MQ 9.0 and 9.1 releases were:

  Apache Commons IO v1.4
  Apache Commons Lang v2.4
  Apache Commons Logging v1.1.1

MQ V9.0 Only:
  Apache Commons Net v.3.3

These are not the most recent versions of the libraries, as
available from Apache Commons.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The version of Apache Commons IO, Apache Commons Lang and Apache
Logging JAR files shipped within the IBM MQ Managed File
Transfer component have been updated to the following versions:

  Apache Commons IO v2.6
  Apache Commons Lang v2.6
  Apache Commons Logging v1.2

 MQ V9.0 Only:
  Apache Commons Net v.3.6
