IT31645: INCORRECT ANS4946W OR ANS4947E MESSAGES WHEN TRYING TO BACKUP SRM PLACEHOLDERS

Error description

• VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) placeholders are VM
  configuration files without any disks. These placeholders can
  not be backed up.
  When a SRM placeholder is included in a backup schedule (either
  with tags or using a legacy schedule), the following
  informational message is seen as expected:
  ANS2398I The virtual machine 'vmname' is configured as a VMware
  Site Recovery Manager placeholder virtual machine on the
  recovery site. As a result, the virtual machine will be skipped.
  
  If a VM has the following tags configured to include or exclude
  specific disks from backup:
    include:x (where x is the disk number)
    exclude:x (where x is the disk number)
  these tags are replicated to the SRM placeholder as well, and
  they are also processed during the placeholder backup.
  
  In above scenario, following warning or error messages are
  logged in the dsmerror.log when the SRM placeholder is attempted
  to be backed up:
    ANS4946W Warning: virtual machine: 'vmname' disk: 'Hard Disk
  4' excluded by user, was not found.
    ANS4947E Error: virtual machine: 'vmname' disk: 'Hard Disk 1'
  included by user, was not found.
  
  These errors can be safely ignored and should not be displayed
  because SRM placeholders can not be backed up, and never have
  disks assigned.
