APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Restarting a domain on DataPower firmware level 2018.4.1.8, the
user observed the following errors in the logs:

gateway-peering(default-gateway-peering): tid(26815): Cannot be
deleted. In use by: gateway-peering-manager(default)
gateway-peering-manager(default)
gateway-peering-manager(default)

Problem summary

  • Upon restarting an application domain users may see error:
Cannot be deleted. In use by: gateway-peering-manager(default)

Problem conclusion

  • Resolve incorrect dependancy on gateway-peering objects which
prevented deletion, recreation of this object on domain restart

Fixed in: 2018.4.1.9
