APAR status

Error description

  • Either Administrative (dsmadmc) or standard Backup/Archive
    client (dsmc) or GUI ( dsm) sessions are delayed by a small
    delay of one second after upgrade to 8.1.6 or a higher client
    level on Windows.
    The trace shows that the delay appears when locking/unlocking
    the dsmopt.lock file.
    
    
    IBM Spectrum Protect Versions Affected:  Client 8.1.6 or higher
              on Windows platforms.
