Error description

  • When using IBM Spectrum Protect Plus, users can apply more
    than one service level agreement (SLA) to a virtual machine
      (VM) or hard disk (HD). However, when a user tries to remove
      an SLA from an object with more than one SLA defined, the
      results in the User Interface (UI) do not refresh correctly.
      The table display and widget display that is used by IBM
      Spectrum Protect Plus UI gets out of sync. This is only a
      visual issue and should not impact your backups as long as
      the user has removed the correct SLA policy that is no
      longer needed.
    
      Deselecting and then selecting the VM or HD in question
      should cause the assigned SLA's to properly be displayed in
      the UI.

Problem conclusion

  • IBM Spectrum Protect Plus has fixed a behavior where changing
    SLA policies assigned to a resource would not always properly be
    reflected in the Select SLA Policy table.
