APAR status

Error description

  • bipbroker process may consume memory and cpu whenever the ssl
connector for webadmin fails to start probably due to wrong
keystore/truststore password. This is accompanied by a repeated
logging of BIP7049E error in syslog.

All Users of IBM Integration Bus V10 using the SSL web user
interface.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The AdminAgent process 'bipbroker'  may consume memory and CPU
if  the SSL connector for webadmin fails to start  due to the
wrong keystore/truststore password. This is accompanied by a
repeated logging of BIP7049E error in syslog.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The product has been modified such that the 'bipbroker' process
will not retry starting the SSL connector if it hits into any
configuration issue with respect to SSL,  as it requires an
integration node restart after correcting the configuration
error.
