APAR status

Error description

  • dsmc retrieve / dsmc restore command might fail with misleading
    ANS1102E and ANS1133W for object names encoded in Japanese
    locales.
    dsmc command line does not work correctly while dealing with
    filename or directory name which includes Japanese characters
    such as Japanese EUC locale and Japanese UTF8 locale.

  • Please use dsmc with "-pick" option or dsm GUI to restore or
    retrieve.
