Error description

• Validation of Linux mount proxy node via Data Protection for
  VMware GUI is successful, but reports "Unknown system error".
  The message does not tell the cause as an unsupported
  operating system is detected, instead, the service trace shows
  the error:

Problem conclusion

• In case the Linux release information can not be found on the
  Linux Mount Proxy an "Unknown error" is displayed in the Mount
  Proxy verification page.
  The product is fixed, a more informative error message is
  displayed.
