IT27606: SPL DEBUG FILE AND EXPLAIN FILE CREATE SEVERLY HAMPERED, GETTINGERRNOS 648 OR 534 WHEN TRYING TO CREATE NEW FILES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Starting 12.10.xC12 both SPL 'set debug file to
  "simple_debug.file"; trace on;'  as well as SQL's 'set explain
  file to "myexpl";', both resulting in a new file being created
  in calling user's current directory, would fail where they
  succeeded earlier.

    648: Cannot open DEBUG file for SPL routine trace.
  
  
  Workarounds seem to be:
   - creating files beforehand (with 660 permissions)
   - change to directory writable for all/for informix (?), or use
  absolute file name in such directory
