APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Running dmpmqmsg with option  - I/i  "input queue name" and -r
should filter the message according to the value or range
specified with -r option.
Eg:
If there are 5 message available in the input Queue .
dmpmqmsg-m <qmgrname> -I <inputqueuename>  -r  2
should remove the second indexed message only.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
dmpmqmsg with the -r option should filter the specific message
or range of message to move or copy from a queue. A logic
omission meant that the filter was not applied correctly.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Code has been modified such that dmpmqmsg will filter message
properly as per the range or specific index supplied by -r
option.
