Local fix
The FDC can be ignored if seen when the queue manager is ending
Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM MQ Platforms affected: MultiPlatform **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A timing window existed in the IBM MQ publish subscribe control process (amqfcxba) during the shutdown of the queue manager. This timing window could cause the process to check the state of resources which had already been cleaned up by other shutdown processing. The absence of these resources cause the FDC record above to be generated.
Problem conclusion
The logic of the publish subscribe control process in the MQ queue manager has been updated to prevent checking these resources if the queue manager is ending, as it is expected that they will be removed during shutdown. --------------------------------------------------------------- The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs: Version Maintenance Level v8.0 8.0.0.8 v9.0 CD 9.0.4 v9.0 LTS 9.0.0.3 The latest available maintenance can be obtained from 'WebSphere MQ Recommended Fixes' http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27006037 If the maintenance level is not yet available information on its planned availability can be found in 'WebSphere MQ Planned Maintenance Release Dates' http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27006309 ---------------------------------------------------------------
