Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: Users of the IBM MQ .NET Redistributable client Platforms affected: Windows **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The logic to locate the MQ .NET runtime library (amqmdnet.dll) when running a .NET application has changed with redistributable clients. A coding error within this change meant that the MQ .NET client was unable to locate runtime library when a client of lower version is installed in the environment.
Problem conclusion
The MQ .NET redistributable client has been updated to correctly locate the runtime library from the client directory when a lower version of client is installed. --------------------------------------------------------------- The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs: Version Maintenance Level v8.0 8.0.0.7 v9.0 CD 9.0.2 v9.0 LTS 9.0.0.1 The latest available maintenance can be obtained from 'WebSphere MQ Recommended Fixes' http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27006037 If the maintenance level is not yet available information on its planned availability can be found in 'WebSphere MQ Planned Maintenance Release Dates' http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27006309 ---------------------------------------------------------------
