Error description
Starting in 7.1 the query process output has a new field call deduplicated bytes. This value represents the number of deduplicated bytes processed for the given process. Because the dedup info for an object remains associated with it even when the object moves into a non-dedup pool where it is actually no longer deduplicated this information is still seen by migration and reclamation processing even when both the source and target pools are non-dedup. A non zero deduplicated bytes value may be confusing to see in a case where no data deduplication actually exists. This value should be zeroed in the case were no actual dedup data is processed. For this situation to occur the data must have previously been in a deduplicated storage pool such that is has dedup info associated with it although it now reside in a non-dedup pool. Below is an example of a non-dedup FILE pool migration to tape pool output that shows a value for deduplicated bytes: 2,605 Migration Volume /tsm/pool/file_001.dsm (storage pool DISK_NOCOPY), Moved Files: 459906, Moved Bytes: 193 GB, Deduplicated Bytes: 192 GB, Unreadable Files: 0, Unreadable Bytes: 0 bytes. Current Physical File (bytes): 10,001 MB Curren input volume: /tsm/pool/file_001.dsm. Current output volume(s): 100018L4. Local fix
Ignore any deduplicated bytes values reported by query process output not involved with a dedup storage pool.
