Error description
Cisco switch probed using SNMP which do not return zone data cause the switch probe to fail and no data is collected. Example of error found in the msg.probeSwitchxxxx.xxxx.log: BTADS0010I Invoking outband scanner CiscoMDSScanner - CiscoZoning on agent xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx . BTADS0109I Outband Scanner CiscoMDSScanner - CiscoZoning on agent xxxxxxxxx did not collect zoning data. BTAFM0687W The switch xxxxxxxx does not respond to SNMP queries. BTADS0012E Outband Scanner CiscoMDSScanner - CiscoZoning on agent xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx failed with return code 47 RECREATE STEPS: Install IBM Spectrum Control v5.2.10.1 and add a Cisco switch with no zones defined The defect is against component: 5608TPCA0 Server/Manager build/release (TPC): 5.2.10.1 . Problem as described by customer: Switch probes failing for some or all Cisco switches.

Problem conclusion
Switches without zoning defined can now be handled without failing.
