Error description
On the affected system even though the High Availability (HA) agent state shows connected to the primary PureSystems Manager, we are still getting these errors during virtual machine (VM) migration: "CWZIP1938E Cannot update the instance [INSTANCE_ID] Caused by: com.ibm.venture.vm.VirtualizationShimException: Task failed on VMware server. reason: The host is reporting errors in its attempts to provide vSphere HA support. endpoint=endpoint1 localizedMessage="Task failed on VMware server. reason: The host is reporting errors in its attempts to provide vSphere HA support." causeType=com.ibm.venture.vmware.sdk.vim25.HAErrorsAtDest cause= Caused by: Task failed on VMware server. reason: The host is reporting errors in its attempts to provide vSphere HA support. Caused by: HAErrorsAtDest and "CWZIP6016E The virtual machine cannot be migrated from the SN#[ID_A] compute node to the SN#[ID_B] compute node." and "CWZIP2448I The placement rebalancing result for the compute node SN#[ID_B] is: VM usage:total allocated CPU changed from 0.22:1.83 to 0.00:1.60 and VM usage:total allocated memory changed from [mem_1] MB: [mem_2] MB to [mem_3] MB:[mem_4] MB."

Code has been added to check and reconfigure the high availability (HA) agent when this error occurs.
Problem conclusion
A code fix is being provided in PureApplication System version 2.2.2.0.
