Error description
The dmpmqcfg command displays authority records with no authorization specification when run with -o setmqaut option. Example: setmqaut -m wmq1_d -n @CLASS -t channel -p DomainA@GroupA If there is no auth specification then the command should display '+none' in the list of authorities. Example: setmqaut -m wmq1_d -n @CLASS -t channel -p DomainA@GroupA +none

Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: MQ administrators using dmpmqcfg command to output the setmqaut records. Platforms affected: MultiPlatform **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An omission in the dmpmqcfg logic meant that when the the dmpmqcfg command was run with the -o setmqaut option, no authorization specification was output if the user did not have authority on the object being dumped. Accordingly, this was not the correct input to setmqaut, as it should have contained an authorization specification of "none" for that user.
Problem conclusion
The code was modified to list 'none' in place of authorization specification if a user does not have any authority on a specific MQ object. --------------------------------------------------------------- The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs: Version Maintenance Level v7.5 7.5.0.8 The latest available maintenance can be obtained from 'WebSphere MQ Recommended Fixes' http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27006037 If the maintenance level is not yet available information on its planned availability can be found in 'WebSphere MQ Planned Maintenance Release Dates' http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27006309 ---------------------------------------------------------------
