APAR status

Error description

• Beginning with the introduction of Tivoli Storage Manager
  server version 7.1.1.000, the Server began leveraging a DB2
  technology to validate database pages during database backup
  operations.  Page validation is used to uncover structural
  corruption within the database.
  
  Under a set of known and unavoidable conditions, this page
  validation feature can fail to properly detect and report
  some bad pages within the database.  This is caused by DB2
  APAR IT09630.
  
  Customer/L2 Diagnostics:
  If structural database corruption is identified through
  diagnostics (see TechNote 1681275), but an ANR3260E error was
  not reported by the Tivoli Storage Manager server during
  database backups, then this APAR likely applies.

  Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected:
  All 7.1.1.000+ Tivoli Storage Manager servers.
