Error description
The symptom has been reported for the creation of a Tivoli Storage Manager backupset where the filesystem had more than 50 million objects. After processing some amount of work, the GENERATE BACKUPSET stalls and QUERY PROCESS does not show any progress: GENERATE BACKUPSET 0 of 1 backup sets have completed for a total of 0 objects and 0 bytes, with 0 objects skipped. Of these, 0 backup sets have failed. Currently generating backup set <BKSETNAME> for node <NODENAME> (data type File). For this backup set, there have been 23,894,582 objects inspected, 12,971,959 objects and 5,217,864,157,595 bytes written, and 0 objects skipped.
