Error description

  • Problem Description
    User had set up an exchange rate from currency B to currency A.
    While use is submitting a requisition with currency B, currency
    automatically update to currency A but the line cost still the
    same value.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    .GO TO >> INVENTORY >> ITEM MASTER
    .Create a new item
    .Click in Vendor tab
    .Add a new row
    .Vendor: GOODYEAR
    .Currency: USD
    .MORE ACTIONS >> ADD ITEMS TO STOREROOM
    .Storeroom: CENTRAL
    .Click OK
    .Issue Unit: EACH
    .Order Unit: EACH
    .Click OK
    .COMMON ACTIONS >> CHANGE STATUS
    .New Status: ACTIVE
    .Roll New Status to Organizations and Inventory: YES
    .Click OK
    .GO TO >> FINANCIAL >> EXCHANGE RATES
    .Click New Row
    .Convert from Currency: PESO
    .Convert to Currency: USD
    .Exchange Rate: 0.0018900
    .Active Date: 1/15/24 9:00 AM
    .Expiration Date: 1/16/24 6:00 PM
    .Save
    .GO TO >> SELF SERVICE >> DESKTOP REQUISITIONS >> CREATE
    REQUISITION
    .Click CONTINUE button
    .Item: ITEM001
    .Vendor: GOODYEAR
    .Currency: PESO
    .Quantity: 5
    .Order Unit: EACH
    .Unit Cost: 1,000.00
    .Line Cost should be updated to 5,000.00
    .Click CONTINUE button
    .Click SUBMIT button
    
    RESULTS: Currency updated to USD and line cost still 5,000.00
    EXPECTED RESULTS:  User is not expecting the update in currency.
    Currency should be what user entered.
    
    REPORTED IN VERSION:  Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.3
