IJ49930: INSPECTION FORM SHOWS ERROR AS BMXAA2890E

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Inspection form shows the following error BMXAA2890E
  irrespective of the values entered in the run hours field.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1.Login to Maximo Application.
  2.Navigate to Assets Application.
  3.Create new asset and provide TESTASSET as asset number
  4.Go to Meters tab a->Add New Meter and provide below details
      - Meter = RUNHOURS 
      - Average calculation method = ALL
      - reading type value = ACTUAL
      -  last reading value = 100
  
      -  last reading date = Current Date
  5. Change the status of Asset to Active and Save new asset
  
  6. Navigate to Manage Inspection Forms
  
  7. Click on Create Form
  
      - Enter name = TEST.
      - Form Type = Inspection
      - Click on Add question and enter question = counter 
      - Click meter readings from response fields
  
      - Enter description for meter readings = Runhours
      - Enter name of the meter = Runhours
      - Click on Done Button
      - Click on SAVE Button
  
  8. Navigate to Work Order Tracking Application
  9. Create a new work order
  
     - Enter description as e. g. Test with inspection from
  
     - Select Asset as TESTASSET (Created in Step3)
     - Select value in Inspection Form as TEST (Created in Step
  7)
     - Click on SAVE button to save the record
  
  10.Go to field Inspection Result
  
      - Navigate to Go to Conduct an Inspection
  
      - Click on button Start
  
      - Enter run hours value 5
  
      - Again, enter run hours value as 105
  
  
  ACTUAL RESULT:  Irrespective of the values entered the
  following error message is displayed "BMXAA2890E  The new
  Reading (5) entered on 1/18/24 should be greater than the
  previous reading (100.00) entered on 1/17/24 9:50 PM unless the
  new reading is a delta or meter RUNHOURS on Asset TESTASSET has
  a roll over value and Rollover is selected"
  
  EXPECTED RESULT: Error message should not be displayed.
