• ABSTRACT:
  BMXAA2256E Error When Condition Code Is Entered On Materials Tab
  In Work Order Tracking
  
  DESCRIPTION:
  If a Condition Enabled Part Number is entered as a planned
  material on a Work Order, a Condition Code cannot be entered for
  the Item on the Materials tab. A System Message appears,
  "BMXAA2256E - Field Condition Code is read-only.", and a value
  cannot be selected for the field.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. Log in to maxdemo instance
  2. Go To Inventory | Condition Codes
  3. Click to highlight the current Item Set
  4. If there are no Condition Codes available, click the New Row
  button
  5. Enter values:
  	Condition Code: NEW
  	Description: New
  	Condition Rate: 100
  6. Click the New Row button
  7. Enter values:
  	Condition Code: REBUILT
  	Description: Used
  	Condition Rate: 60
  8. Click the New Row button
  9. Enter values:
  	Condition Code: USED
  	Description: Used
  	Condition Rate: 30
  10. Save the record
  11. Go To Inventory | Item Master
  12. Common Actions | New Item
  13. In the Item field, enter "CE-100"
  14. In the Description field, enter "Condition Enabled"
  15. Click the checkbox for "Condition Enabled?"
  16. In the Condition Codes section, click the New Row button
  17. In the Condition Code field | Select Value | click NEW
  18. Click the New Row button
  19. In the Condition Code field | Select Value | click REBUILT
  20. Click the New Row button
  21. In the Condition Code field | Select Value | click USED
  22. Save the record
  23. More Actions | Add Items to Storeroom
  24. In the Storeroom field, enter "central", then tab out
  25. Click OK
  26. In the Issue Unit field, enter "each"
  27. n the Order Unit field, enter "each"
  28. Click OK
  29. Common Actions | Change Status
  30. In the New Status field, select Active
  31. Click to select the checkbox, "Roll New Status to
  Organizations and Inventory?"
  32. Click OK
  33. Go To Work Orders | Work Order Tracking
  34. Common Actions | New Work Order
  35. In the Work Type field | Select Value | click CM
  36. On the Plans tab, click the New Row button
  37. In the Task 10 Summary field, enter "Operation 10"
  38. On the Plans tab | Materials tab | click the New Row button
  39. In the Item field, enter "ce-100", then tab out
  40. In the Task field | Select Value | click 10
  41. In the Condition Code field | Select Value | click REBUILT
  
  RESULT:
  System Message appears, "BMXAA2256E - Field Condition Code is
  read-only."
