IJ49360: MAXIMO IS NOT UPDATING CHANGEDATE ATTRIBUTE AFTER USER ADDED A WORK LOG IN WORK ORDER APPLICATION

Error description

• PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: CHANGEDATE attribute is not getting updated
  correctly in WORKORDER object after added a work log in Work
  order application.
  
  STEPS TO REPLICATE:
  
  .GO TO >> WORK ORDERS >> WORK ORDER TRACKING
  .Bring up work order 1000
  
  In the database run the following query and take a note of the
  CHANGEDATE value
  SELECT WONUM,STATUS,DESCRIPTION,CHANGEBY,CHANGEDATE FROM
  WORKORDER WHERE WONUM='1000';
  
  .Back to work order application in Maximo
  .In Priority Justification, enter a description
  .Save
  
  In the database run the following query and take a note of the
  CHANGEDATE was updated.
  SELECT WONUM,STATUS,DESCRIPTION,CHANGEBY,CHANGEDATE FROM
  WORKORDER WHERE WONUM='1000';
  
  .Back to work order application in Maximo
  .Click in Plans
  .In labor section, add new row
  .Enter a Craft
  .Save
  
  In the database run the following query and take a note of the
  CHANGEDATE was updated again.
  SELECT WONUM,STATUS,DESCRIPTION,CHANGEBY,CHANGEDATE FROM
  WORKORDER WHERE WONUM='1000';
  
  .Back to work order application in Maximo
  .Click in Log tab
  .In Work Log section, click New Row
  .Enter a summary and details
  .Save
  
  In the database run the following query and take a note of the
  CHANGEDATE was NOT updated.
  SELECT WONUM,STATUS,DESCRIPTION,CHANGEBY,CHANGEDATE FROM
  WORKORDER WHERE WONUM='1000';
  
  
  CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT: CHANGEDATE attribute is not getting
  updated while user enter a work log in work order application.
  
  
  EXPECTED RESULT: User expects to get CHANGEDATE updated after
  added a work log in work order application.

  CHANGEDATE attribute is not getting updated correctly in
  WORKORDER object after added a work log in Work order
  application. It update the WORKLOG application but not the owner
  workorder application, thus now invoked owner modified as true
  when the worklog is updated.

• The fix for this APAR will be contained in a future release.
