Error description

  • BMXAA4214E error faced when changing Problem Code in Work Order
    Tracking Application
    
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1.In Failure Code Application: Create 2 Failure Classes
    (TEST01 and TEST02) and add a common Problem Code in both
    Failure Class.
    ->E.g. Add three problem code for TEST01 as PROB01, PROB02
    and Other.
    ->Add two problem code for TEST02 as PROB03, PROB04 and
    Other.
    2. Go to Work Order Tracking "Application, created a new Work
    Order record.
    3. In the Work Order record, set the following fields a. Failure
    Class:TEST01 b. Problem Code: PROB01
    4. Save the Work Order record
    5. After the save, on the same Work Order record, change the
    Problem Code field to OTHER, then change the Failure Class
    field to TEST02 (in this order), this will clear the Problem
    Code
    6. When trying to set the now empty Problem Code field to
    OTHER, a BMXAA4214E error message is thrown
    
    Actual Result: Error message is displayed BMXAA4214E - An
    unknown error has occurred. Please contact your system
    administrator for assistance. Gather the logs from the <HOME>
    directory and determine where and why the error occurred.
    
    Expected Result: Error message should not be displayed, and user
    should be allowed to select a value.
