IJ49211: IN THE CONDITION MONITORING APPLICATION, BMXAA2854E ERROR WHILE TRYING TO GENERATE WORK ORDERS.

APAR status

Error description

• STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  1. Go to System Properties application.
  
  2. Bring up the property
  mxe.app.measurepoint.considerWOsGeneratedBySameVal, set its
  Global Value to 1, save, and run Live Refresh.
  
  3. Go to Condition Monitoring application.
  
  4. Bring up the Point 1001 to the screen.
  
  5. Note that the Asset is 11430 and the Upper Action Limit is
  5500.
  
  
  6. From Measurements section, click on New Row button, enter
  the following info, and save the record:
  . Measurement Date: today's date 1:00 AM
  . Measurement: 6000
  
  7. From More Actions menu, select Generate Work Order.
  
  8. In the Generate Work Order dialog box, accept the default
  values, and click OK.
  
  
  9. Click OK in the system message "BMXAA2822I - Work order
  165134 generated from measure point 1001.".
  
  
  10. Now bring up the Point 1002 to the screen.
  
  11. Note that the Asset is 11450 and the Upper Action Limit is
  5500.
  
  
  12. From Measurements section, click on New Row button, enter
  the following info, and save the record:
  . Measurement Date: today's date 1:00 AM
  . Measurement: 6000
  
  13. From More Actions menu, select Generate Work Order.
  
  14. In the Generate Work Order dialog box, accept the default
  values, and click OK.
  
  RESULTS:
  At this point, the system throws the error "BMXAA2854E - Work
  order 165134 has already been generated for measure point 1002s
  most recent measurement.". This is the issue.
  
  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  A Work Order should be generated for measure point 1002.

  IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.3 IF006 (and higher)
