APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In the Assignment Manager application if the labor has a
    different timezone than the database timezone when you assign a
    work order to a labor record
    the available hours Maximo does not reduce the amount of hours
    that were assigned.
    
    
    Steps to Reproduce
    
    Go to the Labor application
    Filter for a labor example Wilson
    Populate the Timezone field = a value different than the
    database timezone
    Populate the Calendar field example DAY
    Populate the Shift field example 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
    Save the record
    
    Go to Work Order Tracking application
    Create a new work order
    Populate the asset field
    Click on the Plans tab > Labor sub tab
    Populate the craft field- Elect
    Populate Regular hours field  = 2 hours
    Save and change status to APPR
    Take note of the work order number
    
    Go to the Assignment Manager application
    Filter for your work order created above
    In the Labor section filter for Wilson
    Select the work order
    Click on one of Wilson's dates in the labor section
    
    
    Side Note : If you assign the work order to Wilson in the
    Assignment Manager application you will see the same results
    
    Results
    If the date in the labor section is showing 8 available hours
    and the work order is 2 hours they are showing 7 available hours
    
    
    Expected Results
    If the labor record is showing 8 available hours you assigned a
    work order that has 2 hours it should show 6 available hours
