APAR status

Error description

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    When the date format is set to dd/MMM/yyyy, user's locale is
    en_AU or en_GB, pick a date of September in any date field of
    Maximo applications, there will be an error, eg.
    
    Error: You entered: 20/Sept/2023 03:36 PM
    The date/time format is not valid. Make sure the date/time is
    specified in a valid format supported by the current locale
    setting. (BMXAA4144E)
    
    The issue occurs to September month only, other months are
    working fine.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Set the System Property of setting.DISPLAYDATE to
    dd/MMM/yyyy, do live refresh.
    2. In the user's Default Information page, set Locale to en_AU
    or en_GB, re-login the user.
    3. Go to any application with a date field, eg, Work Order
    Tracking application, Target Start field, choose a date of
    September from the calendar picker.
    
    RESULTS:
    Receive a validation error, such as:
    Error: You entered: 20/Sept/2023 03:36 PM
    The date/time format is not valid. Make sure the date/time is
    specified in a valid format supported by the current locale
    setting. (BMXAA4144E)
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    There should not be such error.
