    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
    * When exiting edit mode with unsaved changes, the user is *
    * redirected to the list tab and the result list is cleared. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    * A new System Property "mxe.editmode.exitToListTab" was       *
    * created with a default value of 1 to control the Edit Mode *
    * behavior. When you try to unlock a record with pending *
    * changes, a message is displayed asking if you want to save *
    * the changes. By clicking "Yes" or "No" option, if the system *
    * property is set to 1 (default), Maximo will redirect the *
    * user to the list tab and clear the results list. If the *
    * system property is set to 0, Maximo will unlock the record *
    * and keep the record on screen. *
    ****************************************************************

Problem conclusion

  • A new System Property was created to control the behavior.
