IJ47954: APPLICATION IMPORT - ISSUE WHEN MAXIMUM COUNT IN OBJECT STRUCTURE IS SET TO 0

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Problem Description:
  When the Maximum count in Object Structure is set to 0, data is
  imported into Maximo for Flat File type, while for XML type the
  record is not imported.
  
  Steps:
  
  1.) Enable application import:
  
  Navigate to Integration --> Object Structure, Filter by MXITEM.
  
  Under More Actions, Select Add/Modify Application Import Support
  Option.
  
  Click on New Row:
  
  Add the Application: ITEM
  
  Default File Type: XML
  Maximum Count: 0
  
  Save it.
  
  Go to Security Groups --> Open MAXADMIN --> Applications tab -->
  Item Master
  
  Grant access to Application Import option and save it.
  
  Log out and log in again.
  
  
  2.) Navigate to Inventory --> Item Master
  
  Select Application Import --> Object Structure: MXITEM
  
  
  Import the following XML:
