IJ47863: WHEN THE APPLICATION IS SET TO "IS MOBILE" IN APPLICATION DESIGNER, THE CONDITIONAL PROPERTIES DO NOT WORK

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When the application is set to "is mobile" in application
  designer, the conditional properties do not work. Read only date
  field allows changes when using the DATELOOKUP Lookup Button.
  
  When using a normal "non-mobile" application, you get an error
  as expected, but on the mobile app, it lets you change the
  report date.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  0- Open Maximo as maxadmin
  
  1-Create a security group in security groups application
  
  
  2-after that create an user and associate that user to the
  security group you just created
  
  
  3-ensure that you add a conditional property to the target
  start date in the workorder tracking application in the
  application designer application
  
  
  (sigoption READ, any condition like 1=1, and property
  inputmode set value to readonly when the condition is true)
  
  
  
  4-ensure that the workorder tracking application is set to "Is
  Mobile" and then save application
  
  
  5-log out Maximo
  
  6-log back in as the new user you just created
  
  
  
  7-when you try to go to the work order tracking application and
  insert a new record you will notice that the target start date
  can be modified if you select a date using the calendar control
  and you are able to save
  
  
  
  
  Conclusion: Apparently when the application is set to "is
  mobile" in application designer, the conditional properties do
  not work
