APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Problem
    When you have a work order with a task associated and the
    initial planned material is associated on the parent work order,
    you then update one of the material lines to be at task
    
    level the initial inventory usage record is deleted and a new
    one is created. You then take then populate the 2 material line
    task field and save the work order, the inventory usage record
    
    is still showing 1 material line.
    
    
    Steps To Reproduce
    
    Go to Organizations application
    Work Order Options > Edit Rules  > Check the WP Materials field
    for the APPR Status
    Inventory Options > Inventory Defaults > Automatically create
    usage documents for new reservations? checked
    
    Go to Work Order Tracking application
    Create a new work order
    Populate the location field
    Click on the Plans Tab
    Create a new task
    Click on the Material Sub tab
    Add 2 items from the central storeroom
    
    Do not populate the task fields
    Change the status to APPR
    Take note of the work order number
    
    Go to the Inventory Usage record
    Filter for you work order number in the description field
    You should be presented with your inventory usage record with 2
    usage lines
    
    Go to Work order Tracking application
    Filter for your work order
    Click on the Plans tab > Material sub tab
    Populate the Task field = should be task 10 on the first item
    line
    Save the record
    
    Go to the Inventory Usage record
    Populate the description field with your work order number
    You are presented with 2 inventory usage records
    
    
    Go to Work Order Tracking application
    Filter for your work order
    Click on the Plans tab > Material sub tab
    Populate the Task field = should be task 10 on the second  item
    line
    Save the record
    
    Go to Inventory Usage application
    
    Filter for you work order number in the description field
    
    Results
    The initial inventory usage record is deleted and the second
    inventory usage record only shows 1 usage line.
    
    Expected Results
    Either the second material added to the task should have been
    added to the inventory usage record or a new one should have
    been created.
