APAR status

Error description

  • PROBLEM: Get error while changing status to Shipped in Inventory
    Usage application
    
    
    STEPS TO REPLICATE:
    1. Go to Application Designer application
    Open INVUSAGE
    Click Edit Dialog
    
    Click createshipment dialog
    Find Packing Slip field - Click Control Properties
    Change Input mode to REQUIRED
    Save
    
    
    
    2. Go to Items application
    Create an item (TESTITEM01)
    Add to Storeroom: CENTRAL
    set Curbal: 10
    set Unitcost: 100
    Change status to ACTIVE (Have 'Roll New Status to Organizations
    and Inventory?' checked)
    
    
    3. Go to Inventory Usage Application
    
    Create Inventory Usage record: 1013
    Set Usage Type: Transfer
    Set Storeroom: CENTRAL
    In Usage Lines, Click Select Items button
    Select item to transfer: TESTITEM01
    Set required Quantity: 1
    Set To Storeroom: PKG
    Save
    
    4. Change Status to Shipped and click OK button.
    
    
    5. Then, user will get Create Shipment dialog
    In that Create Shipment dialog, don't provide 'Packing Slip'
    Value
    
    Click on 'OK' button.
    User gets the error message "BMXAA4195E - A value is required
    for the Packing Slip field on the SHIPMENT object"
    Then click on Ok.
    
    
    6. Now, provide 'Packing Slip' value (PS01)
    Click on OK
    
    
    RESULT: User got the message box saying "BMXAA7691E - The
    status of inventory usage 1013 cannot be changed to SHIPPED.
    BMXAA0032E - The status that you selected is the same as the
    current status. Select a different status."
    
    
    EXPECTED RESULT: After adding Packing Slip value (required
    value), inventory usage should be changed to SHIPPED without
    error.  Then, balance should be changed accordingly.
