APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Customer was attempting to migrate to a new set of SVCs,
and found that the normal process of creating
relationships
on the SVCs did not work as expected.

Local fix

  • Manually delete all relationships on the SVCs, and then
add
them to the PowerHA configuration, one at a time, with a
verify and sync between additions.

Problem summary

  • Creating multiple relationships in a single consistency group
from PowerHA is failing.
Only 1st configured relationship is getting created but with
master and auxilary disk names of last relationship configured

Problem conclusion

  • Done code changes to fetch proper Master and auxilary disks name
that are configured for that relationship
