IJ46276: THE TOTAL ASSET COST IS INCORRECT WHEN SERVICES ARE RETURNED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The total Asset cost is incorrect when Services are returned
  
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  1. System property mxe.workorder.rollupMaintenanceCosts set
  Current Value = 1.
  2. Create a new asset A1 at location BR400.
  3. Change asset status to OPERATING.
  4. Create a new work order WO1 for the new asset A1.
  5. Approve WO1.
  6. Go to actuals tab.
  7. Add a labor record having 4 regular hours, for example ADAMS
  first class driver.
  8. Add a labor record having -4 regular hours, for example ADAMS
  first class driver.
  9. Add a tool record having 4 tool hours, for example FORK.
  10. Add a tool record having -4 tool hours, for example FORK.
  11. Save WO1.
  12. Create a new Purchase Order PO1.
  13. PO Lines TAB -> New Purchase line for SERVICE.
  Line Type: Service, Line cost: 10, Work Order: WO1,
  16. Complete the GL Debit Account and approve PO1.
  17. Go to Receiving and search for PO1.
  18. Go to tab Service Receipts-> button Select Ordered Items
  19. Select the PO line for Service and save the receipt.
  20. Choose Select Services for Return.
  21. Select the PO line for Service and save the return receipt.
  22. Find WO1 in Work Order Tracking.
  23. Verify that WO1 TAB Actuals -> Services with line cost 10
  and one return with Loaded Cost -10
  23. Close WO1 (accept the Open purchase orders exist warning).
  24. Go to Asset A1
  25. Assets Total and YTD Costs equals the absolute sum of all
  actual Line cost on WO1. (175.2 if you have used examples above)
  
  
  
  RESULT:
  
  The Asset Total Cost is 175.20
  
  
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  
  The Assets Total and YTD Costs should be zero
