  • Problem:

Running Maximo Scheduler Optimization results in the following
exception in the logs:

The root cause is that WAS tries to load class from
com.ibm.ws.prereq.commons-logging.jar, where mof-api-java.jar is
 expecting to use
https://commons.apache.org/proper/commons-logging/.

The mof-api-java.jar http libs need to be upgraded to v5 to get
rid of the commons-logging.jar dependency, as http v5 libs are
using slf4j libs.
