• ABSTRACT:
  Cannot Make Subsequent Updates Using Edit History Work Order
  Action
  
  DESCRIPTION:
  If the Long Description field on a closed Work Order is either
  created, or edited, via the Edit History Work Order action, the
  Long Description cannot be edited again via the Edit History
  Work Order action. On the subsequent attempt to edit the Long
  Description, a System Message is presented to the user,
  "BMXAA0031E - The LONGDESCRIPTION object is read only. Verify
  the business rules for the MBO or MBOSET object."
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. Log in to maxdemo instance
  2. Go To Work Orders | Work Order Tracking
  3. Click the Advanced Search button
  4. In the History field | Select Value | click Y
  5. Click the Find button
  6. Open any record that has a Status of CLOSE
  7. More Actions | Edit History Work Order
  8. Click the Long Description button on the Description field
  9. Enter text, "TEST WO Long Description"
  10. Click OK
  11. Save the record
  12. More Actions | Edit History Work Order
  13. Click the Long Description button on the Description field
  again
  14. Update the text to "UPDATED WO Long Description"
  15. Click OK
  
  RESULT:
  System Message appears,"BMXAA0031E - The LONGDESCRIPTION object
  is read only. Verify the business rules for the MBO or MBOSET
  object."
  
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  The Long Description field will allow subsequent updates via
