  • Error Message: There is a possibility of a potential endless
loop in the stack walker when examining the stack of a thread
which has been interrupted when it is not at a safe point.

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • When using AsyncGetCallTrace call to obtain stacktraces, it can
happen that the stack walking code gets into endless loop,
hanging the profiled application.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The solution will prevent the potential for endless loop in the
stack walker code.
