IJ45183: ISSUE WHEN ADDING TO A WORK ORDER A JOB PLAN HAVING A MATERIAL WITH A DISQUALIFIED VENDOR FOR ANOTHER SITE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When an item added in a job plan as direct issue has a
  disqualified default vendor in a different site, same
  organization, an error message is displayed when the job plan is
  added into a work order BMXAA4512E - The job plan for Job Plan
  TESTJPD cannot be copied.
  
  BMXAA0307E - Company is not valid.
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1)	Open the Item Master application and click to create a new
  item:
  a.	Enter a description, Order, Issue Unit then save. E.g, item
  created 1011
  2)	Click Add Items to Storeroom:
  a.	Site: BEDFORD
  b.	Storeroom: CENTRAL
  c.	Click OK, then again OK
  3)	Click Add Items to Storeroom:
  a.	Site: FLEET
  b.	Storeroom: ATLANTA
  c.	Click OK, then again OK
  4)	Click Change Status:
  a.	New Status: Active
  b.	Roll New Status to Organizations and Inventory? Checked
  c.	Click OK
  5)	Click on tab Vendors
  6)	Click New Row and fill in:
  a.	Vendor: JK
  b.	Organization: EAGLENA
  c.	Site: FLEET
  7)	Click New Row and fill in:
  a.	Vendor: EMI
  b.	Organization: EAGLENA
  c.	Site: BEDFORD
  8)	Save
  9)	Open the Inventory application and click on All Records query
  
  10)	Search the item just created 1011
  11)	Open the details for the item from the storeroom ATLANTA
  12)	Click on tab Reorder Details
  a.	Expand the vendor JK and tick the checkbox Default Vendor?
  b.	Save
  13)	Open the Companies application and the details for the
  company JK
  a.	Tick the Disqualified Vendor? checkbox
  b.	Save
  14)	Open the Job Plans application and click to create a new job
  plan:
  a.	Job Plan: TESTJPD, Test Job Plan
  b.	Organization: EAGLENA
  c.	Site BEDFORD
  d.	Click on sub-tab Materials
  e.	Click New Row
  f.	Item: 1011
  g.	Direct Issue? Ticked
  h.	Save
  15)	Click Change Status:
  a.	New Status: Active
  b.	Click OK
  16)	Check the Default Information - Default Insert Site: BEDFORD
  
  17)	Open the Work Order Tracking application and click to create
  a new work order
  a.	Job Plan: select TESJPD  an error message is displayed:
  BMXAA4512E - The job plan for Job Plan TESTJPD cannot be copied.
  
  
     BMXAA0307E - Company is not valid.
  This error message is displayed even though the vendor EMI added
  for this item, for site BEDFORD is EMI and it is not
  disqualified.
  RESULT:
  The job plan cannot be added to the work order
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  The job plan should be possible to be added to the work order,
  as the is a valid vendor for the respective site.
  REPORTED IN VERSION:
  Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.2
